_LOG

Notes from the Landscape

Field observations, projects, and stories from the evolving work of LOWLAND.

LOWLAND _Log is an ongoing record of the ideas, places, and processes that shape our work. Like the rings of a tree preserving seasons of growth over time, the Log documents the evolving layers of landscapes, communities, and design thinking.

More than a page of works, the Log serves as a working archive — sharing field observations, emerging concepts, construction progress, historic discoveries, ecological insights, and the everyday experiences that influence how we understand and shape place. A tree ring records more than age; it records resilience, change, adaptation, and the conditions that shaped each season of growth. LOWLAND Log follows the same philosophy: a layered record shaped by environment, experience, and time.

Through sketches, photography, research, planning studies, and reflections from practice, each entry becomes another ring in the story — documenting not only what was created, but the process behind it, and the evolving relationship between people, landscape, and place over time.
